Bought a new vacuum. A Meile, I never heard of that brand either.
There is something to be said for a store that specializes in one thing. You get to see brands and models that you would never see at a large box store. We came into the store to look at an american made Riccar upright, left with a Meile because of one feature. The guy helping us showed the air quality meter, then turned on a vacuum and tested the exhaust. The particle count when up 10 times. Then went to the Meile, and it dropped to almost zero.
- The H.E.P.A. filter actually made the air cleaner.
- It was quieter then our old one, and other vacuums.
- The Meile has two motors and can adjust the suction power based on surface being cleaned
- A nice turning body to make moving easier
- Zeon lights to see the dust getting picked up (not for night time cleaning :-) 0
- Metal construction
- other nice smaller features
